A Moment Ago

A Moment Ago is a project I’m working on that uses JQuery/Ajax to retrieve and assemble random strings from RSS feeds. Inspired by The Apostrophe Engine, flarf, Kenneth Goldsmith, etc., and my interest in exploring the possibilities of the network (versus simple interactivity) in new media literature, the application pulls strings from around forty news feeds (as of now), randomly adds spaces and line breaks, and assembles them into a random text. Hovering your mouse over the strings will randomly change sections with new text. Let me know what you think. It can also take some time to load all the content, but it should settle down after a minute or two.
